Here’s everything we’ve collected so far regarding the upcoming update from Apple iOS 14 release date, supported devices, and all features.
We’re still a long way ahead of the official release of iOS 14, rumors have it will going to be one of the best-operating systems Apple will release to date.
Of course, this is a marketing term, because Apply always creates so-called “revolutionary” products. We’re still very curious about what this device will offer.
Apple hasn’t released anything regarding the new iOS 14 updates, but giving what new technology is coming to the new iPhone 12, and all the rumors available on the internet, we can make some educated guesses what this update can offer.
The first update that comes in mind is obviously 5G support. Apple’s new iPhone will reportedly feature 5G chipset, so there is a lot of work in terms of software improvement. But the key lineup for 2020 iOS update is going to be 5G compatibility.
iOS 14 Release date
The iOS 13 update came out on September 19, before the actual launch of the 2019 iPhone. iOS 13 will launch in the same month, probably in the last week of September, ahead of Apple’s 2020 keynote.
We will see more updates on the WWDC 2020 conference, which is scheduled for May. The open beta version for iOS 14 will be launched on the same day. However, the Public Beta version for iOS 14 will be launched in April.

The new iOS 14 update will likely support all the iOS 13 devices. So you don’t have to change your iPhone just to get the new software.

Here’s something that I wanted to share with you guys. iOS 13 was the most buggiest Operating System in Apple’s history. There were a lot of bugs in this software update, that Apple saw a lot of decline in terms of new iPhone sales. This is something that the developers have in their minds, so they’re very careful for iOS 14.
iOS 14: Rumors, Prediction, Conditions and Specification
5G Support:
As I’ve mentioned earlier, the iPhone 14 will support 5G phones. Because Apple is already 1 year late compared to its competition. If Apple will not launch this update, then it will receive a lot of controversy from the competition. So it’s because of no doubt that they will release the 5G update.
AR Glasses Support:
The Apple new iPhone 12 will also support the AR glasses feature, which is expected to launch sometime in 2020. Apple’s AR glasses will also support its standalone Application system. Apple releases the ARKit beta program back in 2019, so there’s enough room for a new application.
Smart detect and block system:
One of the major updates in the iOS lineup was the ability to detect and block spam content like phone calls and text messages. iOS 14 will release a more polished version of this update. Although this update was released a long time ago on third-party apps and many carrier providers, still we love Apple, so move on to the next point.
Foldables support:
There are a lot of foldable phones that came in 2019 and will come in 2020. We’re sure that Apple is secretly planning on a new foldable iPhone, so it better to just hear the news regarding the software update.
With the release of Samsung Galaxy Fold, Android 10 developers started working on foldable smartphones. Apple has still no interest to release a foldable iPhone in 2020.
Application Update:
Like every year, Apple will update the pre-build apps. This includes new updates for Apple Music, Safari, HomePad and Apple Podcasts.
Wallpaper and Icons:
Every year we see new wallpapers and icon improvements. No major update in this regard, just a little bit of tweak for 2 or more applications. Apple hasn’t changed the icon for Apple Music, so it’s really good if we get the new logo for this app.
Here’s everything we know so far regarding the iOS 14 updates and rumors. In terms of software optimization and hardware support, Apple always delivers a state of the art services.
