Google Chrome 80 will kill off annoying notification alerts from your browser.
Google Chrome is probably the most favourite browsing platform for many people and now with the new updates, it’s getting even better.
Google Chrome new update, Chrome 80 will block all popups notifications or Ads by default, meaning you can experience peaceful browsing.
The developers of the project says “quieter notification permission UI that reduces the interruptiveness of notification permission requests.”
The report says that notification was the most common complaint we receive daily. Manly people visiting a certain website, click on someplace, that shows unpleasant notifications on later date.
The new feature will automatically block such content, unless you manually allow them yourselve. Chrome 80 will hide the content notification alert in the URL bar. A new function is also introduced in thus update to have “quiter notification UI”
Firefox users are already enjoying the new feature in Mozilla browser. Google Chrome 80 is schedule to release with this update on February 8.

Here’s how you can update Chrome
For Desktop users:
- Click the three doted button on the top right corner of your screen.
- Go to the settings
- Now click on the About Chrome button
- Chrome will automatically search for the newest patch update
For Android users:
- Go to the Google Play store
- Go to the setting and select My apps & games
- Find google chrome and update the application
For IOS users:
- Go to the App Store
- Navigate to the setting and find Chrome icon
- Select the Update button
