TCL is working on a new foldable phone and by far in terms of design and screen layout, its one of the best we’ve seen so far.
TCL was also participating in the MWC 2020 before it got canceled last week. The one thing that the company wanted to show was the prototype TCL Slide-out phone. Fold-able phones are the main topic of tech in 2020, and how can TCL leave behind?
The leaked images show that the device has a Slide-out screen. Yes, the screen hides.
Images of the phone have surfaced today, and by far this is the best concept phone we have seen in 2020. There’s still a mystery ho this screen will work in a slide-out condition. What happens when we slide the screen a little off the frame?
Our best guess is that the screen somehow bends in the frame and wraps around the edges of the device. The main question is how durable is this device?

This was a perfect phone that could’ve showcased in the MWC 2020, and we are sad that it didn’t happen. Although its a great idea, but so far we have seen that fold-able phones are not reliable for the long term. Even the Galaxy Z flip has a lot of flaws.
TCL doesn’t have a lot of brand recognition outside of China, but this could be the company’s first phone that will create a lot of hype.
