Description
The HP Officejet Pro 8025 is an office-based all-in-one printer that can copy, scan, print, and fax your documents. The printer comes in a plastic build-up design with a minimal approach in terms of space coverage. The sturdy design, white and grey color scheme give it a premium look for your home-office usage.
The printer main interface is an LCD color panel which we will discuss in short. On the top mesh, you will get an automated document feeder section that scans your documents via rollers.
You can also scan your documents from the scanning bed section that handles both long and short standard size sheets. At the bottom of the printer, you will get a paper storage system where you can load up to 60 sheets.

As with other HP OfficeJet printers, we didn’t have any trouble during the set-up process. It’s fairly straight forward and super convenient.
- Remove the Printer from the box along with all the tapes
- Connect the power cord and press the power button
- Initialize the personalization settings such as your Language, Country, Time, Wi-Fi connection, etc.

Performance – Copy and Printing Experience
The printer is equipped with HP Inkjet technology which supports 4800 x 1200 prints per resolution. That is a very bold claim from HP because most professional level printers offer this resolution capacity and HP is offering this around $200.
The company rates this printer around 20,000 pages which roughly calculates to 800 accumulative pages per day. That being said, the printer will perform well for the large company enterprise. However, it is more than enough for your home office usage where you have a limited number of employees.
In terms of Printing, the Officejet pro 8025 offers some handy features. You have a separate section to copy documents, ID Cards, and Photos. You can also select a 2-sided copy option, color layout, printing capacity, preview content, and resizing before copy. All of these options are available in both the printer smartphone app and the touch interface.

Touch Control Interface
All the printer functionalities are in the touch interface of HP OfficeJet pro 8025. It comes with a 2.7-inch color touch-screen which turns around 45’C angle. It follows a minimal approach to distributing all the options and supported features. The panel is touch responsive and the interface buttons are large enough to not mixed around.
Document Printing and Capacity
OfficeJet pro 8025 is equipped with an ample input tray which is super exciting considering the price. The machine can handle 225-sheets on the input tray and 60-sheets on the output tray. The automatic feeder tray can handle up to 35 sheets with 2-sided options.
In terms of performance, the Officejet pro 8025 promises 29 pages per minute for black and white pages and 10 pages per minute for colored images. While testing, the mono draft images provided a subsidiary result and gave us 15 pages per minute. But for the color images, the result was extremely slow. We only got 2 colored pages per minute. And both of these were not even borderless.
The fax transmission is rated 4s per page – but who uses that in 2020?
Connectivity and Software
The HP Officejet Pro 8025 features a standard Ethernet Port, Micro-USB, Telephone line, and phone extension jack. Most of the connectivity is handled via Smartphone-based software or the LCD interface.
For Wi-Fi direct, Amazon Alexa, and Apple AirPrint technologies are also included. Furthermore, the device supports third-party printing apps for basic functionalities.

Final Verdict
From the review, it is safe to say that HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 is a home-office based printer or for your general everyday usage. It comes with a lot of significant features, plus the Wireless connectivity is very helpful. In terms of build quality, it could have been better.
Especially the front white panel, it’s poorly built and unhinges itself from time to time. Apart from this, the printing quality is great for both mono and colored draft.
The Ink cartridges are cheap and easily available on the internet. The HP Instant Ink Services will save you some bucks if you plan on using it in the long run.
In short, if you have a minimum usage and looking for a sturdy design that lasts longer, go for it.
