<p><strong>HMD Global</strong> (which owns the rights to sell <strong>Nokia phones</strong>), is likely to bring the <strong>Android Operating System</strong> to feature phones.</p>
<p>This feature phone called <strong>Nokia 400 4G</strong> has been spotted on the <a href="https://9to5google.com/2020/01/29/nokia-400-4g-touchless-android-feature-phone/"><strong>Wi-Fi Alliance website</strong></a>, and the highlight of the operating system is the <strong>GAFP</strong>.</p>
<p>It is not clear whether <strong>GAFP</strong> is an acronym for which characters, nor has Google <strong>officially</strong> announced, but Android Apps and <strong>Google Assistant</strong> may work in it.</p>
<p>Last year it was revealed that a <strong>Google</strong> team was working on a version of the <a href="https://techmoog.com/how-to/how-to-enable-dark-mode-for-google-chrome/"><strong>Chrome browser</strong></a> for Android phones that could work on a touchscreen <strong>feature phone</strong>.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-5367" src="https://techmoog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/nokia-400-4g-specification.jpg" alt="nokia 400 4g specification" width="992" height="679" srcset="https://techmoog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/nokia-400-4g-specification.jpg 992w, https://techmoog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/nokia-400-4g-specification-300x205.jpg 300w, https://techmoog.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/nokia-400-4g-specification-768x526.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 992px) 100vw, 992px" /></p>
<p><strong>Google stopped</strong> working on the project in September 2019 but reported that the <strong>Nokia 400 4G</strong> was certified by the BlueTooth Special Interest Group in <strong>November 2019</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Read More:<a href="https://techmoog.com/mobile/worlds-cheapest-4g-phone-costs-only-11/"><span style="color: #ff0000;"> World’s Cheapest 4G Phone Costs only $11</span></a></strong></p>
<p>As of now, <strong>KIOS</strong> is the only operating system for apps in <strong>feature phones</strong>, and it seems that <strong>Google</strong> is now looking to compete in this market so that Android can reach <strong>one billion</strong> more people.</p>
<p>If Google or <strong>Nokia</strong> are expected to introduce the Android feature phone in the near future, it could be at the <strong>Mobile World Congress</strong> this month or even at the <strong>annual developer</strong> conference of Google.</p>
