The phone Jazz Digit 4G has been named as ‘Pakistan’s ka Smartphone‘, was introduced at the digital Pakistan meeting.

According to the company, although voice and data tariff rates have dropped in the country at the moment, the biggest barrier to internet access is the cost of smartphones.

Jazz shared this phone with KiOS Technologies and called it the cheapest smartphone in the world. The least price for a smartphone in Pakistan is Rs. 8500 ($55). Nokia C1 is packed with a 1.3 GHz Quad-Core processor, 1 GB Ram, 16 GB storage, and Android 9 Pie (Go Edition).

The phone has been priced at Rs. 1800 and to buy it, the user will have to take the Jazz service for one year, which has a monthly fee of Rs. 300 which includes 1000 mobile minutes, 1000 MBs, Unlimited SMS, and free WhatsApp and Facebook for up to 3 months.

This phone will get the Jazz Super 4G SIM and users will be able to access WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube, Google Maps, and more than 200 apps are supported on this phone.

The company says the purpose of introducing this phone is to provide 4G service to those who are not able to afford expensive phones. Most of the people in urban areas use 2G smartphones.
