Huawei was blacklisted last year by the US government and has therefore missed Google services, Due to which the Chinese company introduced an app store by introducing mobile services while working on various services such as navigation.

But so far Huawei phones have not been replaced by Google search engine, where users can search for news, weather, and other results. Google is not as popular as a search engine as it is, but it seems that Huawei is about to hit the ground now.

According to a Forbes report, it was reported recently that Huawei Search is being introduced and will soon be made part of the Huawei ecosystem. This increase will be a major threat to the Google search engine as Huawei is currently the world’s second-largest smartphone company and millions of people use its device.

XDA Developers tested Huawei Search and said that it is a basic search app that helps only search the information, videos or images required. These developers said that Huawei search results cannot be compared to Google, Yahoo, Bing or others right now.

This software is licensed in Huawei’s Ireland branch and is compliant with GDPR regulation. For now, it may be premature to say that Huawei Search will prove to be a Google search or a Microsoft Bing conversion, but there is a strong possibility that the service will be able to progress slowly.

The statistics of the report are based on market share. iPhone XR has a global smartphone market share of 3% with the iPhone 11 at 2.1% share. The next in the lineup is Samsung Galaxy A50 with 1.8% global sales.

The list of the best selling smartphone by region is also available. On a global scare, iPhone XR only topped the North America Region. In China Oppo A5 and in  Europe Samsung Galaxy A50 dominated the lead.

If the news is true, Huawei users will get the latest Android version and all the Google supported apps including Play Store, Gmail, Photos, and YouTube. Currently, all the older Huawei devices are still running on Android OS, but they are not receiving any newer Updates.

Huawei has its own alternative to GMS, but it’s not fully integrated as a substitute. Many users are downloading Play Store from the third-part website. Google warns people to not use such files as they are harmful to your mobile.

So far the ban is affecting both sides and it is possible that the government will grant the license.

We also have tough privacy and cybersecurity solutions for the Huawei app gallery. ‘

He reiterated his commitment to developers bringing their apps to the company’s new app gallery, saying the gallery would be just as good as Google and the Apple App Store. “We will welcome developers from all over the world to join Huawei Mobile Services,” he said.

The Huawei App Gallery has an age rating system for child protection and filters out apps that are not age-appropriate. According to the company, if no app is found by the user, you can list the desired app name, which will be communicated to the user when available. According to the company, apps downloaded from this app gallery work better on the company devices, which is an open AI platform called Huawei HighAI.

Likewise, a feature called QuickApps is a new type of free apps that provides the user with powerful functions and automatic updates of HTML 5 pages, but the storage of consumer devices is minimal.

Quick Apps writes 1/5 percent of the code as compared to Android apps, which takes up less memory space; in simple terms, this feature can accommodate 2 thousand Quick Apps instead of just 20 apps in 1 GB space.

Reuters reported recently that major smartphone makers like Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo are working together on a platform that works alike Google Play Store.

These companies are under the aspect of the Global Developer Service Alliance (GDSA), and the move appears to be an attempt to challenge the Google Play Store’s international monopoly.

Google Play Store is banned in China and Android users download apps from various app stores, most of which handle different companies like Huawei and Oppo,

But outside of China, Google Play Store is dominated, allowing developers to upload their software, on different platform.

Third-party app stores face difficulties as a result of this monopoly, and are now being challenged by the GDSA platform.

The GDSA’s Prototype website states that its services are planned to be introduced in 9 countries and territories including India, Indonesia, Russia and Malaysia.

According to the report, these Chinese companies are very strong in different regions, such as Xiaomi in India or Huawei Europe, and during the last quarter of last year, these companies sold 40% of smartphones worldwide.

This new platform will make it easier for developers to upload their apps to all stores simultaneously.

Google Play Store’s global dominance is an even bigger problem for Huawei, which lost Google apps and services, including a Play Store license, due to US sanctions last year.

Due to this issue, Huawei decided not to push its flagship phone Mate 30 for sale globally, while also announcing it to work on its operating system Harmony OS and as an alternative to Google services. Huawei invested one billion dollars to establish mobile services.
