Apple is now allowing app developers to add ads in their push notifications. In a recent, update by Apple, the company changes the rules and norms of the Apple app store.

This option permits the developers to send ads in push notifications. The users cannot opt-out of the ads however if the app developers wish to do so.

Moreover, there will be few built-in apps in the iPhone through iOS 13SDK that is planned to launch by April 30, this year. This option will allow the app to be compatible with different modes of iOS 13, like AR Kit3, Dark Mode, Core ML 3, and others. It is expected that by 30 April Apps will be offering the option to login with Apple ID. This option is a new one, currently; apps use Google and Facebook ID to allow you to log in to them.

Apple has provided an API to the developer to help them with this new feature in different apps. This is a piece of good news for Apple users that will be able to login to different apps without creating any new app ID.

Apple App store is demanding some high-quality rules and regulations from dating apps. If they fail to provide a satisfactory response, Apple might remove them from the app store.

Counterpoint Research recently posted a report on the most selling smartphone by the manufacturer in the world. Surprisingly with all the criticism from the audience, Apple is still at the top. Apple 6 devices are in the top 10 list with iPhone XR at the top and iPhone 11 claiming the second position.

The statistics of the report are based on market share. iPhone XR has a global smartphone market share of 3% with the iPhone 11 at 2.1% share. The next in the lineup is Samsung Galaxy A50 with 1.8% global sales.

The list of the best selling smartphone by region is also available. On a global scare, iPhone XR only topped the North America Region. In China Oppo A5 and in Europe Samsung Galaxy A50 dominated the lead.

The top 10 smartphones mentioned along capture the 15% market share. 5G smartphones are still a no show in 2019 with 1% sales. It is expected that more and more 5G devices will take the lead in the future.

Samsung has the honor of being the largest smartphone sales company in the world, but in recent years, the performance of Huawei and Apple has put the South Korean company at risk of being snatched away.

However, Samsung seems to be the biggest beneficiary of the production problems for Apple and other companies with the spread of the Novel Coronavirus in China, and its plans to manufacture smartphones in the country is under a threat radar.

According to Reuters news agency when the production of Apple and several other companies was affected by the Coronavirus, Over 50% of Samsung’s smartphones are manufactured in Vietnam, and the company has experienced a limited impact from the crisis in China.

Apple announced on Monday (February 17th) that it would fail to meet its revenue targets during the quarter, due to the Coronavirus affecting the sales and manufacture of devices in China.

It should be noted that most of Apple’s iPhones are manufactured in China while sales are also high there. On the other hand, the Chinese company Xiaomi said last week that sales of its devices are likely to be affected during the quarter.

Read More: The Wuhan Coronavirus will also affect the Galaxy S20 supply Chain

Huawei, another major Samsung rival company, has not announced any production problems, but experts believe it may face a major setback as it depends on the product being manufactured in China.

Many companies in China have begun to open their factories after several weeks, but due to the lack of workers and other problems, the manufacturing process is likely to be slow.

Samsung has in recent years adopted a strategy to manufacture devices in countries other than China and therefore does not face problems with Apple and other companies.

“Samsung is currently in a much better position than its rival companies Apple and Huawei, we are fortunate to be able to avoid the risks posed by the virus,” a person familiar with Samsung’s supply chain told Reuters.

Sources associated with Samsung’s Vietnam operation warned that if the virus spreads for long periods of time, then Samsung could also have a negative impact as the company acquires several components from China.

Samsung has to rely on a Chinese manufacturer to manufacture some low-cost phones. “We are doing our best to minimize the impact on the operator,” the company said in a statement.

Read More: Breaking: MWC 2020 Canceled because of the Coronavirus

Samsung ended the process of manufacturing smartphones from China last year, as its market share remained unchanged. Interestingly, other companies being affected by the virus will also have a negative impact on Samsung as the South Korean company provides memory chips and displays for Apple’s iPhones.

There was a bunch of news about the launch date of the iPhone 9 (SE 2) making rounds on different social media and tech media sites.

However, now it is revealed that the iPhone 9 will be launched in a mega event scheduled on 31st March. Through different media reports, the event is date is confirmed on the end day of March. The newly launched phone will be available for sale from the 3rd of April.

It is finally an ultimate date after so many speculations about this launch. For the last few months, the iPhone followers and tech media were surrounded by uncertain news. The launch of the iPad is also expected with the launch of the new budget iPhone launch.

However, there will be lesser units of iPad available due to the Novel Coronavirus outbreak in China. One of the major production units of Apple is in china. Therefore, the company suffers from an epidemic outbreak in china.

It is possible that Apple will launch tablets in lesser quantities or may delay the launch. The shipment issues from china are the main cause of the problem. Fearing the public safety tech giant may put the tablet launch to a later date.

It is not a confirm news but it is said that the new tablet will have triple cameras, with a 3D ToF among the combination. Moreover, Apple is expected to launch 13 inch Macbook on the same day of launching the iPhone 9 (SE).

DGCCCRF, a consumer rights and fraud prevention organization in France, said in favor of its customers that Apple made the old phone deliberate and that consumers did not realize it, nor did the company had warned them about it.

In 2017, Apple also admitted that it had slowed down some of the model’s iPhones and cited the reason, saying, ‘this extends the life or life of the device’. The French government has settled matters with the organization.

Some consumers have suspected that Apple intentionally slows down the phone so that people buy new models every year.

In 2017, Apple also said that it didn’t force users to upgrade or buy a new phone. Apple contends that some of its model batteries become weak over time and fail to utilize the smartphone efficiently.

This results in the phone being switched off several times to protect its remaining system. Some users reported that the iPhone 6S’s speed slowed down, but as the battery charged, the phone performance again accelerated.

However, the French government said that users who bought the iPhone were not told that installing more software updates would slow down the phone as well.

The organization added that Apple should have made a notice of the French language information on its Web site for a month, but the company is a commercial fraudulent entity that has to pay a fine.

In response, Apple has agreed to pay a fine

According to the Strategy Analytics report, Apple beat Samsung in the sale of phones in the fourth quarter of 2019.

In fact, Apple announced yesterday that in the fourth quarter of 2019, the company broke all old revenue records. From October to December 2019, Apple shipped 70.7 million iPhones worldwide, while the number of Samsung smartphones stood at 68.8 million.

According to the report, Apple topped the global smartphone market share with a 19 percent increase, Samsung and Huawei are second in the lineup with a 15 percent share.

This is because of the success of Apple’s iPhone 11, which people loved a lot, the company sold 7% more phones in the fourth quarter of 2018.

Overall, Samsung has been ranked 1st in sales of smartphones in 2019, while Huawei is 2nd, Apple 3rd, Xiaomi 4th, and Oppo ranked at the 5th position.

Huawei is the world’s second-largest smartphone company in 2019, but the effects of US sanctions impact the overall reputation of the company in the global market.

During the 9 months of 2019, Huawei’s phone sales saw an increase, but the fourth quarter was low compared to the last quarter with a 7.4% decline.

Overall smartphone sales saw a slight decline in 2019 and stood at 2.2% compared to 2018.
