WhatsApp introduced the Dark Mode feature last month to the Android Beta version, which is promised in 2018, and users are eagerly waiting for it.
And now another update to the WhatsApp regarding the Dark Mode has been added to the Dark Theme wallpapers, which is now available to all users.
This was reported in a report by WABetaInfo, the site tracking updates in the WhatsApp. With this update, users will be able to use 6 new dark colors as wallpapers in chat.
What’s new with this Update?
This new addition will help to improve the Dark mode because if the light colors wallpaper with the Dark mode is inaccessible then the screen light remains luminous and the Dark theme is of no use.
Whatsapp chats will look much better in dark mode with darker wallpapers. By the way, this feature is still available to all users but it does not have the new 6 dark colors.
For example, for WhatsApp wallpapers new color options, you can select the color of your wallpaper or use the image of your choice by going to Settings. As mentioned above the Dark Mode setting is available in the beta version of Android.
This feature will allow users to select Light or Dark theme, while the system default theme will be possible if using a phone with Android 9 or later operating system.
Android users will need the new beta version of WhatsApp (2.20.13) to use this option and this is possible only if you have signed up as a beta tester.
Dark Mood is a feature that WhatsApp-owned company Facebook promised in 2018 and has been working on ever since.
