The announcement date of the vehicle was just before the actual release date. The ceremony of the vehicle was at the local manufacturing plant in Pakistan, where Amin Aslam, the Climate Change Advisor of Pakistan, was also invited.
Sazgar is a renowned brand in the country releasing affordable 4-stroke taxi vehicles for the general public. The company also export 3000 vehicles to Japan to grow the country’s economy.
Pakistan recently passed a new proposal to grow electric equipment in the region to fight climate change. Many manufacturer companies like Proton, BMW, Audi have plans to launch their own electric vehicle in the country. However, the country is still a long way behind the technology.
The 3-wheeler rickshaw is being manufactured locally and the company has plans to export this vehicle to other parts of the world.
Apart from the electric kit, all the material in the vehicle will be manufactured locally, which company claims will help the ‘Country’s economy’. In terms of specifications, its a 7.7kwh, 48V, 160Ah battery paired with a 3kw motor.
