In 2019, we’ve seen a major breakthrough in the telecom industry, especially the smartphone industry.
2020 is not going around so well as the recent pandemic has reached 200 countries. The report by CSS Insight believes that as compared to the last month, there will be 250 million fewer devices in the market.
It is expected that the total devices in 2020 will be 1.26 billion, which is the lowest rate in a decade. This will mostly affect the Q2 2020, but as the season changes and the situation comes back to normal, it is expected to increase slowly.
The demand of the smartphone hasn’t died out completely, there are still smartphone available online as the offline market is closed. However, companies are dealing with such a decline as their demands are not being met.
