Google Chromecast is one of the most successful streaming devices you can buy right now. It offers an affordable way to steam your favorite content on your TV without a smart TV.
The new Chromecast device might include a lot of new features under the hood. The report states that the device is codenamed “Sabrina”, will offer 4K HDR content, Wifi, Bluetooth and will run on Android TV. In addition to this, users will also get a Bluetooth Chromecast remote.
As of now, the only way to communicate with the device is through Chromecast mobile application. The tweet shows a more dynamic look of the Chromecast remote. From the looks of it, we can say that it looks like a Daydream VR remote.

In terms of remote features, it has built-in Google Assistant, microphone and programmable volume and power buttons. The design of the device very much looks like the last-gen Chromecast Ultra, but it’s what under the hood that has been upgraded.
The current Chromecast device is priced at $69, so we expect that the new device might be a little upraised in terms of price.

However, Amazon’s Fire TV Stick offers the same specs in just $49. So Google must think on the price if they have to compete in the market. It is expected that the device will launch alongside Google 4a.
