Apart from the Samsung Galaxy Fold and Samsung Galaxy Bloom, the company plans to launch more foldable smartphones in 2020.
The recent Q4 report from Samsung shows a significant amount of decline in the revenue. However, the overall sales of the company have drastically increased. The expert suggests that the decline was due to faulty memory chips and weakness in the display panels of some smartphones.
Other smartphone manufacturers like Huawei, Oppo and Apple have seen a practical amount of increase in the quarterly demand for most gadgets. The overall sales of the mobile communication division reached KRW 107.27 billion, which is the maximum compared to the last 5 years.
As part of the report, Samsung has invested in more foldable display panels for 2020. Samsung estimates that it will sell 5-6 million foldable Galaxy Bloom devices in 2020.
The main outline of the company is to focus more on the flagship and foldable smartphones. Furthermore, Samsung also plans to launch more 5G-capable devices than any of its competitors.
