2020 is a year of innovation and new ideas for the tech industry. At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), we’ve seen some amazing tech-related devices. Although, there was no foldable Smartphone in the event so far.
Back in 2019, many manufacturer companies like Samsung and Huawei introduced a prototype of a foldable smartphone. They instantly became the sensation of the smartphone industry but the device didn’t perform very well because of some design flaws.
However, Huawei didn’t even release this device for the general public. It is expected that they will release this device later this year.

In the 2020 CES meeting, we’ve heard some rumors that Samsung is developing a foldable clamshell phone. It appears that the handset is very much likely to release in the summer of 2020. The device will be named as Samsung Galaxy gloom and was dubbed in a secret CES meeting.
The design of the Galaxy bloom design will likely to be very changed, compared to Galaxy Fold. The Galaxy bloom will feature a new glass material Call Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) instead of a plastic screen. This new design will increase the sensitivity of the device.
Apart from its name and conference meeting, there’s no other news. What specs this device will feature is still a mystery. It is expected that the device will be revealed at an event on February 11.
